I’m Lori Jean Buongiovanni and I’m a licensed real estate agent specializing in buying and selling residential homes and farms in Maryland. I am ranked in the top 20 agents for ReMax in Maryland and the top 20 agents for all brokerages in Southern Maryland. I’ve placed 148 families in homes just since the pandemic.

Loving what I do is the secret sauce to my success. I love helping my first time buyers begin their wealth building in a home they are excited about. I love helping the growing family buy up to their next property or empty nester scale down. As a horse rider myself, I am especially strong in buying and selling horse farms and larger acreage properties.

The experience I bring to my clients as a real estate agent is part professional and part personal. I listed my first home in 1987 in Beverly Hills, California. Within a few years, I picked up and moved to Maryland. I raised three kids in Maryland and renovated a historic home before going back into the home game by starting my own boutique granite fabrication shop, Granite Grannies, where I helped thousands of my neighbors in the greater DC area turn their homes or investment properties into must-have listings. After I sold my business I went back into real estate. My success as a small business owner as well as personal real estate buying and selling has proven to be the perfect combination for real estate success.

I’m Brittnai Pytlar, I have always been interested in taking the path less traveled and creating the life I wanted. I opened my own coffee shop, Retro Roast, in Seattle but when my new husband got a military order to move just two years later, I sold it for a profit.

My husband is a West Point graduate who is passionate about his military career and duties to the country. I love the military life which has allowed me to focus on my passion towards fitness and aerial arts. Over the next ten years I competed and claimed several titles nationwide, also earning a spot to represent Team USA at the world championships in Turin, Italy. As it did for many other people around the globe, the pandemic threw up roadblocks so I pivoted my attention towards completing my college degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a double major from Oregon State University. This degree ingrained inclusion, intersectionality, and advocacy within my scope of knowledge.

In the past few years I have focused on another great love. I began riding horses for pleasure in my late 20’s but my competitive nature (and love of speed) led me to barrel racing. I have been a three time world qualifier in the National Barrel Horse Association (NBHA).

We got orders to relocate from New York to Maryland and that’s when I met Lori Jean. She expertly helped my husband and I find the perfect farm for our herd, flock, and pack (that’s three horses, 8 chickens, and two dogs).

Lori suggested I might make a great real estate agent and our team was formed. I hit the ground running and had my first sale within two weeks of being licensed. I LOVE IT. I love helping clients find the right home. I also love the work we are doing with horse farms. I know first hand the importance of listening to my client. Understanding their herd (also known as a family) is essential to finding the right home/ farm.
